I'm currently a music education major freshman at VCU. I run about 10 miles every day and love being outside. If I had to pick the thing I most enjoy, it would probably be performing on stage or consuming knowledge about music. Music for me is everything. Not just orchestras or some band on the radio. I love witnessing it as a natural phenomenon in nature. Its amazing how much music is hardwired into the human mind. Also, performing can be fun and really create the energy, or mood, of a room. I'm currently a member of the VCU Pep Band and during games, we can really be an influential part of a basketball game. My name is Elizabeth Strong and I am 21 years old. I was born June 25, 1988 and have lived in Louisa, Virginia my whole life. I have one sister and two brothers. I am attending VCU and majoring in forensic science and cinema. My favorite things to do are ride 4-wheelers and play softball, and I love kids and animals. My favorite summer vacation destination is Gatlinburg, Tennessee and I usually go there every year with my grandparents and uncle. One day I would love to visit Australia, Ireland, Africa, Mexico, and India. I love being able to help people less fortunate than myself and would like to go on missions trips to some of these countries.
Brandon Cook
Hey just in case you didn't notice from the banner up top my name is Brandon Cook. I'm a 24 year old army brat who ended up here in Virginia. I've been all over the world with my parents who were both in the US Army and I myself in the US Air Force and have served four honorable years. I am a Biomedical Engineer major here at VCU with intentions to go to medical school and become a doctor. That picture below is my son Jaiden who lives with his mother in Las Vegas. I love him so much and I hope that I am raising him right so that he can grow into a productive young man. I want to provide a better life for him and any other children that I may have in the future.
